Are you new to Canada? Do you have questions about navigating the Canadian job market but aren't sure where to start?

This workshop is designed to equip you with essential strategies for adapting to the Canadian workplace. You'll learn how to confidently navigate the job market and effectively articulate your personal story to potential employers.

Topics covered include:

  • Building and customizing resumes to pass ATS, avoid overqualification, and highlight transferable skills.

  • Crafting the perfect cover letter.

  • Optimizing LinkedIn for networking, company research, and job opportunities, as well as understanding its importance in the hidden job market. 

  • Finding job opportunities through online job boards, company websites, and networking platforms. 

  • Staying organized during the job search process and tips for staying motivated. 

  • Preparing for job interviews in Canada, including answering behavioral/situational questions and presenting your cultural fit. 

  • The rapid growth of AI and its impact on career development.
